Darren Badillo
Darren Badillo is honored to serve as the master of ceremonies for the Parental Power Summit. With a background in hospitality business management and community service, Darren is committed to empowering parents and advocating for their concerns. Guiding the summit discussions, Darren will highlight initiatives to support families and address pressing issues facing Maryland parents. The summit will focus on the importance of parental involvement in shaping Maryland’s future.

Jeff Trimbath
Jeffrey S. Trimbath has nearly three decades of experience in conservative public policy, faith leadership and development at both the state and federal level. He has served at several DC-based conservative organizations, and served for over six years in the administration of President George W. Bush. He believes strongly in the values of faith, family and freedom as the bedrock of our nation, and he desires to see those values permeating every corner of society.

Father Edward Meeks
Father Ed Meeks is a Catholic priest of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, and the founding pastor of Christ the King Church in Towson, Maryland. Prior to becoming a priest, Fr. Ed had a career in Human Resources in several Baltimore area firms. He and his wife, Jan, were married in 1970.

Sameerah Munshi
Sameerah Munshi, a native of Southwest Missouri, holds degrees in Mathematics and Political Science from Brown University, where she was awarded the James Manning Medal for Religious Studies. Passionate about Islamic knowledge and comparative religion, she has spoken at prestigious venues like Harvard’s Veritas Forum and Princeton’s Respect Life Sunday. Following an internship at the Religious Freedom Institute in Washington, D.C. in 2023, Sameerah co-founded the Coalition of Virtue, a Muslim-led non-profit promoting moral values in American society, where she serves as Executive Director. Her recent testimony on behalf of religious families before the Montgomery County Public Schools Board of Education gained viral attention, amassing over 720,000 views on social media.

Ismail Royer
Ismail Royer is the Director of Islam and Religious Freedom at the Religious Freedom Institute (RFI), a Washington, DC-based non-profit. He converted to Is lam in 1992. After becoming involved with an extremist group in Kashmir, Royer pleaded guilty to violating United States neutrality law and served nearly 14 years in prison. Now, he works with nonprofits to promote friendship and cooperation among faiths for the common good. His work has been published in many outlets, including the Washington Post, USA Today, Newsday, First Things, and American Conservative. He is the co-editor of a forthcoming book on virtue ethics in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
